Introduction: This course teaches the basic duties a Range Safety Officer performs. It provides a thorough introduction to the role of the Range Safety Officer, range standard operating procedures, range safety briefings, range inspections, emergency procedures and how to clear stoppages and malfunctions.
Aim: To develop NRA Certified Range Safety Officers who possess the knowledge, skills, and attitude essential to organizing, conducting, and supervising safe shooting activities and range operations.

Ammunition Requirements: None
Gear: Pistol, holster, three magazines, magazine holders, belt, wraparound eye protection, ear protection, rain gear, weapons cleaning kit, clothing appropriate for climate and conditions and a water bottle or other hydration system. (not included).
